***ELECTION NOTICE***
The Constitution of Virginia requires that you be registered in the precinct in which you live in order to be qualified to vote. In order to be eligible to vote in the November 2, 2010 General Election, you must be registered by Tuesday, October 12, 2010. If you have had a change in your voter registration information, you are encouraged to update this information by October 12. Absentee voting will begin September 17, 2010. In addition, the Office of General Registrar will be open on the following two Saturdays, October 23 and October 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The last day to request an absentee ballot by mail is October 26, 2010. The last day vote an absentee ballot in person, in the Office of General Registrar, is October 30, 2010.

All requests for reasonable accommodations due to a disability should be made to the Registrar with at least a 48 hour notice.

Maybe you just turned eighteen, moved to Bristol recently, or need to update your information on file. Whatever the reason, we encourage you to register if you meet the qualifications.
